KINDERGARTEN NEWS – MAY 24, 2010

Library books - Please bring your book tomorrow.

Memory verse – Go into all the world and [tell] the good news. Mark 16:15

Field trip on Friday – We will leave school about 10:50.  The museum is on Fourth Street just off of C Street.  When we leave we will eat lunch in the Plaza Park.  Drivers, can you put a blanket or sheet in your car so we can sit on it to eat. 

Math – We have been using 2 dice to add.  We roll the dice, add the dots and put a marker on a grid.  The goal is to be able to look at the pattern of dots and ‘know’ the number instead of having to count it each time.  This would be another good summer activity.

Reading –This week we will complete the J book.  Only 2 more to go!  Keep reading!

Choir – Thank you to all who joined us yesterday.  It was fun to see so many singers.
